Terms

Spreee Terms and Conditions

The plain English Terms of Service that govern your use of Spreee, including eligibility, account responsibilities, payments and dispute resolution.

These Terms of Service govern your use of Spreee, the free to play social casino operated for Canadian players. Every player who creates an account on Spreee agrees to these Terms at sign up and is bound by them for as long as the account is active. The Terms are written in plain English wherever possible, with formal legal language used only where Canadian law requires it. Where formal language is used, a plain English summary is included alongside it to make sure the meaning is clear.

If anything in these Terms is unclear, the Spreee legal team is reachable through the contact details at the bottom of this page. The Terms are updated periodically and any material change is communicated by email to every affected user at least thirty days before it takes effect, with a full summary of what is changing and why.

Eligibility, age and location restrictions

You must be at least nineteen years old to create a Spreee account. Spreee is available in all ten Canadian provinces and three territories, with a short list of regional exclusions where local sweepstakes law specifically requires it. The exclusions, if any apply to you, are flagged the moment you create your account and the platform will only enable the features you are eligible for.

You agree to provide accurate information at sign up and to keep your account details current. You agree to use only one Spreee account at a time and not to share your account with any other person. You agree not to access Spreee from any jurisdiction where the platform is not available or where the use of social casino services is restricted by local law. The full eligibility framework is set out in the registration flow at sign up.

Gold Coins, Spreee Coins and the no purchase principle

Gold Coins are the free play currency for every game on the platform. Gold Coins have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, cannot be transferred between accounts and cannot be redeemed for prizes. The Gold Coin balance shown in your account is a contractual entitlement to play games on the platform and nothing more. Gold Coins are not refundable, including those received through Shop pack purchases.

Spreee Coins are sweepstakes entries that may be redeemed for prizes where allowed by Canadian law, subject to the Sweepstakes Rules. No purchase is ever required to participate in Spreee Coin sweepstakes. Spreee Coins are available through daily free drops, hourly free drops, tournament prizes, level up rewards, referral payouts, postal entry as required by law and as a free bonus included with optional Shop pack purchases. The Sweepstakes Rules govern eligibility, redemption thresholds and the prize catalogue.

Optional Shop purchases and payments

The Spreee Shop is the optional place where players can buy Gold Coin packs. Every Shop pack comes with a free bonus of Spreee Coins included. Shop pack prices are shown in Canadian dollars inclusive of applicable sales tax. Every transaction is processed by a PCI compliant payment processor and full card numbers are never stored on Spreee servers. By making a Shop purchase you agree to the payment processor's own terms in addition to these Terms.

Shop purchases are non refundable once the Gold Coins have been used. Refunds for unused packs are processed inside one chat session by the support team. Disputes for unauthorised charges are handled in line with the rules of the payment processor and can be raised through your support history. Repeat purchases use the payment token from your first transaction and can be turned off at any time from the Privacy and Settings panel.

Acceptable use and prohibited behaviour

By using Spreee you agree to play the games on the platform as they were intended to be played. You agree not to use automated tools, bots, scrapers or any other unauthorised software to interact with the platform. You agree not to reverse engineer the games, the platform or the underlying RNG. You agree not to exploit any bug, glitch or unintended behaviour for personal benefit and to report any such issue to the support team if you find one.

You agree to behave respectfully in chat rooms, multiplayer games and live dealer tables. Harassment, hate speech, spam, off topic promotion and impersonation of any Spreee team member are all prohibited and may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account. Repeated violation of the chat rules can also result in your removal from multiplayer games and live tables while the rest of your account remains active.

Account suspension, closure and termination

Spreee may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, if your account is involved in fraud or abuse, if your account is the subject of a third party exclusion request supported by appropriate documentation, or if you exercise your own right to self exclude. Suspensions and closures are confirmed in writing by email and include the reason in plain English. Any redeemable Spreee Coin balance is preserved through the suspension or closure process and can be redeemed in line with the Sweepstakes Rules.

You may close your account at any time from the Privacy and Settings panel or by request to support. Closure is processed the same business day and is reversible up to twelve months after the closure date. Permanent self exclusion is also available and cannot be reversed by support, by you or by any appeal process. The How to Close Account page covers the full process in detail.

Dispute resolution and Canadian governing law

These Terms and your use of Spreee are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute between you and Spreee that cannot be resolved through the support team is subject to the non exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario. The support team commits to attempting good faith resolution of every dispute through live chat or email before any formal proceeding is started.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of a support process, you have the right to escalate to the Canadian Consumer Protection authority for your province, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada for any privacy related complaint and to your provincial gaming regulator for any compliance related complaint. The relevant contact details are listed on the Help Centre and the support team can also provide them on request.

Common Questions, Real Answers

How old do I have to be to use Spreee in Canada?

You must be at least nineteen years old to create a Spreee account. This minimum applies across all ten provinces and three territories where Spreee operates. No. What happens to my Spreee account if I breach the Terms of Service?

Depending on the nature and severity of the breach, your account may be suspended temporarily or closed permanently. Suspensions and closures are confirmed in writing by email and include the reason in plain English.
